Amazing service and Mori was the guy! It is a pleasure to be served by such professionals. I was going to get three bids and they were the second one I called. They asked when they could come and do they estimate and I said how about right now. Even though it was Saturday they came right out and Mori and his team did a very through evaluation and explained in detail what they would do. I asked when they could do the work, and they said can we do it now? I decided not to pursue the other two bids, and to my surprise they had the equipment and crew there and did the job all in the same day! It is a pleasure doing business with people like this. 5 stars all the way. We had a pretty neglected system that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time (if EVER!!!), and these guys did an awesome job getting everything back in shape. Omri was the lead on our crew and he was fantastic. Very professional, super knowledgeable, and took the time to walk me through everything they were doing. You could tell they really cared about doing it right. No pressure, no upsells. Just solid, honest work. Highly recommend if your system needs a deep clean.Posted on Google![]()

Thanks for the quick turnaround work. My AC and furnace unit was pretty dirty as previous tenant was very messy. Plus he had smoked inside house causing cigarette odor to contaminate unit. Crew came out and did a thorough clean up over a a span of 3-4hours. Before and after photos were night and day difference. Update: Company charges extra for use of credit card which was an additional $75.80 with final bill $1970.80. Attempting to pay with the credit card initially failed. Thinking there may be issue with card I used another card. Later I came to realize that I was double charged on two different credit card; however, what annoyed me was somehow the first bill was lot higher than anticipated ($1,989.75). Now I have to go fight to get the extra charge removed. While the work is commendable, the billing practice is questionable. Update: Jasmine was great to follow up on this issue and was able to get the extraneous charge reversed.Posted on Google![]()

Most Houston homes should have their air ducts professionally cleaned every 1–2 years. Houston's unique climate — including year-round air conditioning use, high humidity, and elevated allergen levels — often calls for more frequent cleaning than the national average, which is why we recommend annual inspections to assess your system's specific needs. Several factors can increase how often you should clean your ducts, including pet ownership and the shedding and dander buildup that comes with it, allergies or respiratory sensitivities in the household, visible dust around vents or registers, and recent renovations where drywall dust and debris settle deep into ductwork. Our experienced technicians evaluate your entire HVAC system and recommend a customized maintenance schedule tailored to your home's needs and Houston's demanding environmental conditions — helping you breathe easier and keep your system running efficiently year-round.
Professional air duct cleaning in the Houston area typically costs between $300 and $500 for an average-sized home, though the final price depends on system size, contamination levels, and duct accessibility — larger homes or heavily contaminated systems generally cost more. See our full Houston air duct cleaning cost breakdown. Always request a written, transparent quote from a licensed and insured contractor; reputable Houston air duct cleaning companies should offer upfront, fixed pricing with no hidden fees. When comparing estimates, confirm the quote includes cleaning the entire main trunk line and not just the vent registers, verify the contractor carries proper licensing and insurance, and get multiple quotes to ensure fair, competitive pricing for your specific situation. We provide free, itemized quotes upfront so you know exactly what you're paying for before any work begins.
No, DIY air duct cleaning in Houston is not recommended and can lead to serious problems. Without specialized equipment, improper handling can damage ductwork, spread contaminants throughout your home, and void HVAC warranties, many of which explicitly require professional maintenance to remain valid. Store-bought vacuums and brushes simply can't reach deep into the ductwork the way truck-mounted, professional-grade equipment can, and attempting it yourself risks pushing dust and debris further into the system rather than removing it. Houston's humidity also raises the chances of hidden mold growth, which requires proper containment and treatment that most homeowners aren't equipped to handle safely. If you're weighing your options, our next FAQ covers exactly what to look for in a qualified professional.
A typical residential air duct cleaning project in Houston takes about 2.5 to 3 hours with a professional two-person crew servicing one HVAC system. The exact timeline depends on factors like system complexity, duct accessibility, contamination levels, and whether additional services such as coil cleaning or sanitization are included. Larger homes, commercial properties, or systems requiring mold treatment may take longer, which is why a reputable Houston air duct cleaning provider should conduct an initial inspection to give you an accurate time estimate before work begins. While our technicians work efficiently with state-of-the-art equipment, we never rush a job at the expense of quality — you can always expect a thorough assessment and a realistic timeline from our team.
The most common signs your Houston home needs air duct cleaning include excessive dust around vents and registers, worsening allergies or respiratory issues indoors, uneven airflow between rooms, visible dirt or debris in duct registers, and musty odors coming from vents. A recent mold discovery is another key warning sign — and a particularly common one given Houston's humidity, which creates ideal conditions for mold growth in ductwork. Rising energy bills despite normal usage can also signal that your system is working harder due to duct blockages. If you haven't had your ducts cleaned in 3–5 years or have recently completed home renovations, it's worth scheduling a professional inspection, as our technicians can assess your specific situation and determine whether cleaning is necessary to restore indoor air quality and system efficiency.
Source removal is the industry-standard cleaning method defined by NADCA (the National Air Duct Cleaners Association) and is the technique our technicians use on every job. It works by placing the entire HVAC system under negative pressure using a powerful vacuum collection device connected to the ductwork, so dust and debris are pulled out of the system and safely contained rather than pushed further inside or released into your home. While the vacuum runs, technicians use specialized agitation tools — brushes, air whips, or compressed air devices — to dislodge buildup from the interior walls of the ducts, ensuring it's captured at the source rather than simply stirred up. This method is considered far more effective and thorough than simply inserting a vacuum hose into a vent, which is a common shortcut used by less reputable providers.
Yes, air duct cleaning directly improves indoor air quality by removing the dust, debris, and airborne particles that accumulate inside your ductwork and recirculate through your home every time your HVAC system runs. Since a typical home's air is pulled through the duct system multiple times per day, any buildup inside those ducts becomes a continuous source of indoor air contamination rather than a one-time issue. Removing that buildup restores proper airflow and reduces the volume of particulates being circulated into the rooms where you spend the most time. For Houston homeowners in particular, this matters even more given the region's high humidity and pollen levels, which contribute to faster buildup inside ductwork compared to drier climates.
A typical appointment begins with our technicians conducting an initial inspection of your HVAC system to assess duct layout, accessibility, and contamination levels before work begins. Next, we seal off registers and connect our truck-mounted vacuum collection system to place your ductwork under negative pressure, which contains debris and prevents it from spreading into your home during the cleaning process. Our technicians then use specialized agitation tools to dislodge buildup throughout the supply and return ducts, working section by section to ensure thorough coverage of the entire system. Once cleaning is complete, we perform a final walkthrough with you to review the work, address any questions, and confirm your system is ready to run at full efficiency.
Yes, even a brand-new HVAC system can benefit from duct cleaning, since the ductwork itself is often separate from the unit and may have existed in your home long before the new system was installed. Construction dust, debris from the installation process, and any contaminants already present in the ducts don't disappear just because the equipment powering them is new. In fact, running a new, more powerful system through old, dirty ductwork can actually push existing buildup through your home more efficiently than before. We recommend a duct inspection any time you install a new HVAC system to ensure you're getting the full performance and air quality benefits your new equipment is designed to deliver.
Yes, air duct cleaning can meaningfully reduce allergy and asthma symptoms by removing the pollen, dust mites, pet dander, and mold spores that collect inside ductwork and get redistributed through your home every time the system cycles on. Houston's high pollen counts and long allergy seasons make this buildup especially common in local homes, often more so than in drier or more seasonal climates. Many homeowners report noticeably easier breathing, less nasal congestion, and fewer flare-ups within days of a professional cleaning, particularly if allergies had been worsening indoors despite regular housecleaning. If allergy symptoms are a primary concern, pairing duct cleaning with a high-efficiency air filter can further improve results.
Houston's high humidity creates an environment where moisture can easily collect inside air ducts, especially around condensation points near the HVAC coil, and that trapped moisture provides ideal conditions for mold and mildew growth. Combined with the region's near-constant air conditioning use, ducts in Houston homes are exposed to far more moisture cycling than in drier climates, which accelerates the buildup of contaminants between cleanings. This is why local homes often need more frequent duct cleaning and inspection than the national average, and why any sign of musty odors or visible moisture inside ductwork should be addressed quickly rather than left to worsen. If mold is discovered during an inspection, it requires specific treatment, which we cover in more detail below.
A complete HVAC system cleaning covers the full path air travels through your home, not just the visible vents. This includes the supply ducts that carry conditioned air into each room, the return ducts that pull air back to the system, the main trunk line connecting everything together, the plenum, and the vent registers and grilles themselves. Depending on the scope of service, it can also include cleaning the evaporator coil, blower motor, and drain pan, since buildup in these components can affect both air quality and system efficiency just as much as dirty ductwork. Before any work begins, we walk through exactly what's included in your specific service so there are no surprises about what is and isn't covered.
The best time to schedule air duct cleaning is in early spring, before allergy season fully ramps up, so that pollen and other allergens aren't already actively circulating through freshly cleaned ducts. Scheduling ahead of peak season also means your HVAC system is running as efficiently as possible right when Houston's cooling demands start to climb. That said, if allergy symptoms are already affecting your household, cleaning your ducts as soon as possible — rather than waiting for a "perfect" seasonal window — will still provide meaningful relief. Many Houston homeowners choose to schedule cleaning twice a year, once before spring allergy season and once before the heaviest summer humidity, to keep their system consistently performing at its best.
A properly completed air duct cleaning should leave your vents and registers visibly free of dust and debris, and a reputable provider will walk you through before-and-after documentation, such as photos or video, showing the condition of your ducts at each stage of the process. You should also notice improved airflow throughout your home and, in many cases, a reduction in dust settling on surfaces within the following days. Ask your provider to confirm in writing that the entire system was cleaned using the NADCA-standard source removal method, not just the accessible portions near the vents. If you have any doubts after service, a reputable Houston company should be willing to return and address any areas of concern at no additional cost.
Air duct cleaning refers specifically to cleaning the ductwork itself — the supply and return ducts that carry air throughout your home. HVAC system cleaning is a broader service that includes duct cleaning as one component, but also covers other parts of the system such as the evaporator coil, blower motor, condensate drain pan, and other mechanical components that affect performance and efficiency. In short, duct cleaning addresses the pathways air travels through, while HVAC system cleaning addresses both those pathways and the equipment powering them. For a full breakdown of everything included in a complete HVAC system cleaning, see our answer above.
Yes, dirty air ducts can contribute to a range of health issues beyond typical allergy symptoms, particularly in homes with young children, elderly residents, or anyone with a compromised immune system or existing respiratory condition. Prolonged exposure to circulating dust, bacteria, and mold spores can aggravate asthma, contribute to chronic sinus irritation, and in cases of significant mold contamination, has been linked to more serious respiratory complications. Houston's humidity increases the likelihood of mold specifically, which carries its own set of health considerations beyond standard dust and allergen exposure. If anyone in your household has experienced unexplained respiratory symptoms that improve when away from home, it's worth having your ductwork professionally inspected.
Start by confirming the company holds relevant industry certifications, such as NADCA membership and technicians with an ASCS (Air Systems Cleaning Specialist) credential, which indicates they're trained to the industry's recognized cleaning standards. Verify the company carries proper business licensing and liability insurance, and ask specifically whether they use the source removal method with truck-mounted equipment rather than portable vacuums, which are far less effective. A trustworthy provider should offer a written, itemized quote with no hidden fees, be willing to explain exactly what's included in the service, and have verifiable reviews — look for a strong BBB rating and a solid track record of five-star reviews from local Houston customers. Finally, ask whether they guarantee their work, since a company confident in their results should stand behind them.
Yes, clogged, dust-filled ducts force your HVAC system to work harder to push air through the home, which increases energy consumption and puts unnecessary strain on the equipment. Removing that buildup restores proper airflow and can improve your system's overall efficiency by up to 20%, translating directly into lower monthly energy bills. Over time, reduced strain on the system also means less wear and tear on major components, which can help extend the life of your HVAC equipment and delay costly replacement. If you've noticed rising energy bills without a clear cause, duct cleaning is one of the most cost-effective first steps to address it.
If mold is discovered during a duct inspection, we offer EPA-registered antimicrobial treatments designed to eliminate existing mold growth and inhibit future regrowth inside the ductwork. The treatment process begins with a thorough source removal cleaning to physically remove mold and contaminated debris, followed by the application of the antimicrobial solution to all affected surfaces within the system. In cases of significant mold contamination, we may recommend additional steps, such as sealing or replacing sections of severely affected ductwork, to fully resolve the issue rather than masking it. Given how common moisture-related mold growth is in Houston's climate, we always recommend addressing it as soon as it's identified rather than waiting for it to worsen.
